Winnie-the-Pooh – more than just a story

15 Oct

What does friendship mean to you?
Here you see the words we have collected.

Most of us know Winnie-the-Pooh, we’ve read the  stories or watched them on TV 🙂  But do you know that pooh country really exists?

The author A.A.Milne linked the stories to Ashdown Forrest, an area in Sussex where he owned a country house. So we can read about the adventures his son Christopher Robin had in the 100 Acre Wood .

Today you can visit the “Pooh Corner Shop” in Hartfield, have a tea, buy some souvenirs, get a map, and explore the places you have heard of. The “Pooh Corner” team have sent us best wishes for our collaboration on the blog because they know that friendship and imagination are important.

In class we talked about what friendship means to us.You can find one of Pooh’s important messages  in this puzzle

And here are some impressions from Pooh country 🙂

When I saw the blog I read lots of titles, but this really drew my attention 🙂
I used to watch Winnie the Pooh every morning when I was a child, and I knew every single episode. But only now I know 100 Acre Wood really exists! My cousin is three and he loves Winnie, too. My aunt and my uncle want to take him there!!! Thanks for the information, my cousin will be very happy!
