What a trip! Georg is a very lucky fellow indeed. What did he tell you when he came back home? I bet he had loads of stories in his bag.
Let me recap: Germany, The UK, Norway, Romania ( brr, he met Dracula ) , Turkey, The Netherlands ( Holland), Hungary, Sweden, Slovakia, Poland, Greece and the canal of Corinth, Italy, Portugal and Latvia. I counted 14 foreign countries altogether ๐Ÿ™‚ Wow! One year to complete that trip? A real Grand Tour of Europe, staying with the locals, I bet.
    And … he didn’t pay us a visit. What a shame! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Look at these trees in Hilburgausen ! ๐Ÿ™‚ “Magnifiques”. That’s for your first French word ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Georg is really lucky…he found lots of new friends and had great adventures with them ๐Ÿ™‚ I won’t go into detail here, I think Elias is already working on a post about that.
You would have liked him to visit you too? Why not invite him? He may be ready for another trip… ๐Ÿ™‚

@ Team Slovakia, thanks for all your questions. We’ll answer them when we are back to school. Just some short information today: Georg visited as many schools as he could, one per country. We asked several schools (etwinners) if they wanted to host him…some accepted our invitation, others said they weren’t interested ๐Ÿ˜ฆ You can find a list of all schools in the credits of the video, as well as a list of the animation team (Rigas Skolenu Pils).
All schools Georg visited were fantastic hosts. You can read his diary here: http://new-twinspace.etwinning.net/web/p51077/home (public twinspace)
Georg is at school now and will only go on tour when invited ๐Ÿ˜‰ So the French team will meet him in December.

@Marika, Georg won’t go on a big tour again…he is a bit old now, you know, 200 ๐Ÿ˜‰
If his friends accompany him, depends on the invitation… By the way, thanks again for being such a great host ๐Ÿ™‚

We are kind of possessive over here. Let Georg have his own experiences with us, unless he feels lonely to fly to Brittany on his own ๐Ÿ˜‰

Georg isn’t afraid of travelling on his own ๐Ÿ™‚ because he is a nice bear and makes friends easily. He did the first part of his tour alone…in the Czech Republic he got his first companion, and when he came back they were a group of seven.
Well, if you promise him a jar of honey for his friends, he might be willing to come without them ๐Ÿ˜‰ I will talk to them when we are back to school. But first I will tell him that some of his fantastic hosts got the European Quality Label for their great contribution to his adventures ๐Ÿ™‚

Georg would enjoy our school-produced honey. We do have beehives and hopefully he will be there when we collect it . Really, the place to be for a greedy teddy ๐Ÿ˜‰
Congrats to all his hosts for their quality label.

He isn’t greedy at all but likes sharing with friends … and some little friends will be waiting for him ๐Ÿ˜‰ You can see them in the post … in front of the animation team.

    Hi!
Well, I’m happy to say something about Georg, too ๐Ÿ™‚ !
It was great to host him in Italy, all pupils were so excited! He was here in February and we took him out parading on a Carnevale chart in a fancy dress especially made for him and his friends by some grandparents (see Georg’s diary). All kids were longing to take care of him and Elena is still doing that with Georg II (another interesting story). Here is the link to a presentation of our activity in the class:
Click here to view “etwinning with Georg” slideshow!

Then I was invited to join their celebrations for their school’s anniversary … what an experience! Concerts, presentations, dances, shows, exhibitions and tours of the school with excellent guides … such a good organization for everybody to enjoy! Here is a link if you want to look at some photos of the celebrations and of a tour in the Thuringian Forest:

    Bye, Giovanna
