Preparing for a trip

15 Nov

Today Georg Ianum and his friends left their temporary home in the foyer of our school.

They joined the students of form 7b, who told  them they had been awarded the European Quality Label for their project. 🙂

Then they went outside to take a photo with the plate all of them had earned for their school. Everybody was happy and proud.

Coming back to the classroom Georg and his friends got some information about the new project some of his fellow students have joined.

They had a look at the map of the project, the participating schools, and heard that the French team had invited Georg to visit them for Christmas.

Sorry, French team. We can’t just  send you Georg … his friends from the Czech Republic, Poland, Greece, Italy,Portugal and Latvia will join him.

They have left their countries to accompany their friend Georg. You can surely imagine that living in a foreign country can be hard enough…and it is their first Christmas abroad. So we can’t separate them from Georg… they will go together.

Our little friends have started their preparations and think of arriving at the beginning of December. 🙂

Not sure we get the message. Where are Georg and friends heading for? They are more than welcome to spend their Xmas time with us.

We are getting ready to welcome them. Everybody was pleased this morning in class.
Would you be kind enough to tell us how many are coming? Do Georg’s friends have names? Where are they from?

    You haven’t counted them?!
We have added the names and respective countries to one of the photos. The countries have already been in the text, but now they are attached to the ‘persons’ 😉

Somebody must have misspelt it … probably me or the person who collected the names on our twinspace.
