My village – Rieth

08 Jan

by Vincent

Rieth is close to the European green belt in the middle of Germany. rieth

There live about 340 inhabitants. I have to say that all people are friendly and helpful. There are a little shopping centre, a bakery, a brewery, a museum, a church, a bowling alley, a forest trail, a fire station, a pub, an agricultural farm and a kindergarden.

In the forest is a trail called “Nonnenholz”. You can walk through a little world, where children and adults can learn something about big trees and animals of the wood. On a way through the forest children can play with wood. They can jump and see if they are good like a cat or like a kangaroo; these pictures are cut in the trees beside the jump way. There are more stations like flying. At the end of the tail live wild boar and deer.

You can see pictures on the website “http://rieth.sth.de”

I would love to live in your village, Vincent. The only little problem is the fact it is a bit far from the sea. We are sort of sea frogies over here 😉

Lovely village indeed with nice people and with a bowling alley too 😉
