An unusual day at school

04 Feb

Today we welcomed a group of Turkish students and teachers at school . ameeting1

After getting to know each other and some warm-up activities we went to the outskirts of Hildburghausen to have a good time in an area with ponds, wood and … deer.

Many students from our class don’t live in Hildburghausen ameeting3

and come to school by bus or train every morning, so it were not only our Turkish guests and fluffy friends who saw the deer for the first time πŸ™‚

Everybody enjoyed the snown man competition πŸ™‚

Looking at our snowmen we remembered some poems we had learned for our English lessons before Christmas. πŸ™‚

Some of us volunteered to recite them, and we made two videos for you. As that was a spontaneous decision…no rehearsals, no professional equipment…forgive the quality.

You can find the link to the other video in the ‘comments’.

Unfortunately Micas, Paolina, all three teddies and their hosts weren’t at school on Monday, but all the others enjoyed themselves. πŸ™‚
We’ve uploaded some more photos. Can you see Krtek on an alien’s head and have you spotted the new crew member?

The three teddy bears were on sick leave, so they unfortunately missed that activity. 😦
