We had 7 groups of parents visiting us in class this saturday.
4 of us were in charge of presenting our eTwinning project. We talked very enthusiastically to the potential future pupils and their parents.
We were very sorry not to have a proper Interactive board but we managed 🙂 and guess what? A little bird told us we might be equipped before the school year is over 🙂
Parents and children were very impressed by our blog. We told them all about our partners from Italy, Scotland, Slovakia and, last but not least, about our friends from Germany who are taking care of very precious fluffy creatures 😉
After introducing the various topics we are dealing with on our blog, we showed them cards, letters, documents and drawings we got via slow mail from our friends on the blog.
Our Headteacher paid us a morning visit and was very proud of us. We were very, very pleased.
We could have stayed all day with parents and children as we had so much more to tell them about. They promised they would go on the blog at home. Victor explained to them how to access it from the school website and how to leave comments 🙂 🙂
At first we were a bit stressed to talk to parents, as Mrs Munar had told us we couldn’t read any paper. We have rehearsed part of this week and little by little talking about the blog, we know so well, became easier and easier. We could have gone all day 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
