Our class trip to Nuremberg

22 Mar

NBGOur class trip was to Nuremberg from March 12th to 15th.  We went there with  form teacher and her son.

On the first day we spent two hours in a railway museum, it is surely interesting because it gives information about the history of German railway. By the way there we played hide-and-seek because some of us were bored. After that we went to the hostel, had dinner and watched some DVDs.

After  breakfast at 9am the next day, we had a guided city tour. It was interesting but it was too much stuff to learn and notice. After the tour we had lunch at McDonald’s lunch and then we could go shopping in the city. But at 3 pm we went to the next museum. The “Albrecht Dürer Museum”, the artist lived there from 1509 to his death in 1528. I think I shouldn’t say anything about the museum… I am not really interested in arts.

The last day was spent shopping and watching a movie at the cinema.  On Friday we packed our lugguage and went back home by train.

“Bye-bye, Nuremberg, and hello sweet home”, this was the day’s motto.

Well, Vincent, I will visit Nuremberg one day and will certainly go to the Albrecht Dürer Museum. You know teachers, don’t you? 🙂 I would like to visit the Germanisches Nationalmuseum too 😉

I had a chance to spend some two hours in Nuremberg while waiting for the flight to go back home … well, it was such a good day that I just enjoyed walking around the open market, looking at the ancient buildings in the town centre and having a good Italian icecream 😉 ! But if I have a chance to be there again, I will probably visit the Dürer Museum, too 🙂

Well, Giovanna, your visit was a bit short last year and days were so busy 😉 When you come back you should have at least a day for Nuremberg. 🙂
By the way, you had Italian icecream instead of Nuremberg Bratwurst?! 😉
