A German Song – Our Song

03 Jun

GeorgianerWe’d like to share the song of Gymnasium Georgianum with you.

It was created by one of our  teachers, Frau M.Wiegandt,   and first performed in April 2012, on the occasion of  bicentennial of our school.

You do not only see a choir uniting students and teachers but also find a little Italian surprise. 😉

Some people have asked for the lyrics…here we go. 🙂 Unfortunately just in German.

Georgianerlied

Jugend braucht Werte, braucht Perspektiven,

Lernen soll Freude machen, vertiefen

Verantwortung, Mitmenschlichkeit, Intellekt.

bewahr’ dir, was dich deine Schule gelehrt

Andrea, you remind me how time flies … more than a year ago! Well, I definitely have that time in my mind as if it was yesterday, and all I could see and do there 😉 Thanks

A pleasure Marie, shall we have a chance for a real meeting?
