My Confirmation

We are in year 8 now, that’s the time of certain rites of becoming an adult. 😉  Here people either celebrate Confirmation or Jugendweihe.

Confirmation is a ceremony for 13 or 14 year-old teenagers at  church; from this day on they are full members of the congregation and  have the same rights and responsibilities as an adult.

My Confirmation was on 12th May, 2013. It was a rainy day in the morning but later, for the photos,  it was sunny :). After the ceremony at church I celebrated with my family. We took lots of pictures with my Grandma & Grandpa and Dad & Mum and the rest of the family…but the camera was out of order so we  only have pictures of the ceremony in the church.

We celebrated into the night, because it was the most important day in my life 🙂 🙂 🙂

An exciting football match

Football championships are played in each country, so there’s the Italian one, the German one, the Spanish one, and so on. In addition, there is the Champions League, a European competition where all the best teams from each nation compete.

The final match of UEFA Champions League was played last Saturday evening at Wembley Stadium. The two teams who competed for the victory were Borussia Dortmund and Bayern München, two German teams. Borussia Dortmund’s players wore a black and yellow suit, Bayern München had a red and white one.

It was an exciting match since the first minute; in the first half of the match Borussia was better than Bayern, but in the second half Bayern scored with Mandzukic, a Croatian player. After 8 minutes Borussia got a penalty and Gundogan scored his goal. At the 88^th minute Robben scored the match-score for Bayern München and the match ended with a score 2-1 for Bayern.

Robben was very happy for his goal because he made himself redeemed from for kicking a penalty and scoring 0 last year!  

We supported Borussia Dortmund because it is a team with young players and also because Bayern München won against our Juventus. 😦

However, we are happy for the victory of Bayern München 🙂

When you relax

Do you have a special place at home where you relax?
Here is what Chiara says:

When I am in my living room I listen to music, I watch TV and I play computer games. But often, when I sit on my sofa, I think about what I will do at the weekend and what I could do to have fun … I already dream of being on the beach at the seaside and play beach volley, relax, sunbathe, eat ice cream and meet my friends. My mind takes me where I feel so good … that’s why I love staying in my living room!!!

And here is where a young boy has some rest:

Every day, when I get home from school, I rest in my bedroom and I watch TV. I think about all things I must do for the next day as homework … sometimes, I think back about what I did at school and I laugh for the funny things that happened in my class … so I relax. My bedroom is small and untidy, but it’s where I do my homework, use the computer and can do my plans for my sports activities.
